Harris Tweed Needle Felting Gift Set. British hand carded alpaca fibre with A Harris Tweed and Heavy Weight Linen Wool filled Needle felting Mat. A selection of 30 needle felting needles in 3 different sizes with 2 wooden needle felting tools and finger protectors. Alpaca Fibre: This is a selection of hand washed, hand cared alpaca fleece. The amounts of each colour very. I pop in less black fibre with a view to it being used for small details. Alpaca fibre is slightly different to felt with compared to wool as it's a very light, fine fibre however the results are stunning. I have included 30g of wool to use as the core of your projects. The amount of wool and fibre in the box weighs 130g. Alpaca do Alpaca things so I may have missed the odd bit of grass or hay. This will be very minor. Harris Tweed Needle Felting Mat: Harris Tweed on one side with a lovely heavy weight linen fabric on the reverse. I pre-fill the mat for you with recycled wool fabric and felt.. It's nice and light for your wrist and the needles, and really lovely to felt with. It's an eco mat so it will compost once it's served you well. The mat features a hand made vegetable tanned leather double sided button trim. Harris Tweed Tool Back: A generously sized tool bag with a vegetable tanned leather trim and strap handle so that you can hang your sharp tools out of the way when not in use. Made with a professional bag making lining the bag is sturdy and will keep its shape. The inside is a designer heavy weight cotton lining with good sized pocket. Hide Leather Finger Protectors: I cut each pair from a sturdy yet soft vegetable tanned leather hide and hand stitch them using a waxed thread. They will fit almost all thumbs and fingers as the leather will naturally mould and become very comfortable with wear. These finger protectors are literally stab proof. One side of the leather is slightly thicker to be worn on the top of fingers and thumbs. This natural leather is stunning and will soften and develop a beautiful patina over time. Needles: I include 30 needles in the kit, 3 different sizes included. Packaging: You kit will arrive packaged as the box displayed in the photo. Gift wrapping Service: Should you wish to select the gift wrapping service your box will be set as displayed in the pictures. I will add additional bubble wrap protection and include a tag and a hand made card which will carry your personal message. Invoice documentation (prices etc) will not be included if Gift wrapping is selected unless I am shipping outside of the UK. In this case I will need to include documentation for customs paperwork.
