About

Mindful Fibre Arts was born out of a passion for traditional crafts and a commitment to sustainability.

With a focus on high-quality materials sourced from local farms, I design and create unique, handcrafted items that celebrate the beauty of fibre arts.

Each product is made with care, ensuring that every piece tells a story and brings joy to its owner.

The dedication to my craft is evident in the attention to detail and the love infused into every creation. Whether it’s a cozy wheat bag or a beautiful wool bear, you can feel the warmth and passion in each item.

About Me

Course Programme Writer, Facilitator and Master NLP Practitioner I had worked in the corporate sector (for a very large well known IT company) for many years.

I did love the role despite the corporate pace and jet lag.. as I embraced the opportunity to be creative and facilitate change.

Through personal self exploration and development my values took over.  A hunger and seemingly unquenchable thirst for authentic means of self expression began to override my desire for my lovely company car and first class travel.

I travelled to African and lived in a mud hut village for a time and found humility and patience...something that had never been my strongest point despite growing up in the inner city as part of a single parent family and having the gift of dyslexia.

I studied anthropology and found piece and confidence through shamanic arts.

On my craft journey I have learned and enjoyed....Papercraft, The making of Copper and Silver Jewellery, Cake Decorating, Wood Turning, Rug Hooking, Weaving, Sewing and Quilting and the design and manufacture of textile hand printed resources for children with Autism.  Skills that gave me the gift of self employment for 16 years.

Along the way I found the craft that makes my heart sing....Fibre Arts.

Today I am dedicated to exploring my own artistic potential and helping others to explore there's.
