Handmade Rustic Oak and Recycled Pine Rug Hooking, Rag Rug or Needle Punch Frame.......gripper cover and Hook included. The base of the frame is 35" long and 6" wide made of solid recycled oak. The frame stands are also solid oak and stand 8" high. The actual rug hooking frame is made from a lovely aged pine and measures 30" long and 25" high. The protector cover that sits on the carpet gripper strips is a thick jute fabric trimmed with leather hide. The frame is designed to easily detach from the side stands and fold down on the hinges for travel or easy storage. The frame is ideal for rug hooking as you can gently guide your fabric strips frame underneath. It's also great for the punch needle rug making method or making rag rugs. I started making these frames to save my neck from having to bend over the work.....I find that being able to sit straight at the work is far more relaxing.
