British hand carded wool texture fibre box with Hessian Pre-Filled Needle Felting Mat, Needles and Leather Hide Finger Protectors. Wool: This is a selection of hand washed, hand cared wool. The selection includes Herdwick, Jacob and Teaswater Curly Locks. The amounts of each colour and texture very as I tend not to weight the little batts....that said I always include 50g of the curly locks so that you have enough to create something really lovely. The amount of wool in the box weighs 200g. Sheep do sheep things so I may have missed the odd bit of grass or hay, this will be very minor. Hessian Needle Felting Mat: I always double up the hessian on my mats (double thickness on both sides) so as to make them last much longer. I pre-fill the mat for you with Buckwheat Husks. It's nice and light for your wrist and the needle and really lovely to felt with. It's an eco mat so it will compost once it's served you well. Hide Leather Finger Protectors: I cut each pair from a sturdy yet soft leather hide and hand stitch them using a heavy weight waxed thread. They will fit almost all thumbs and fingers as the leather will naturally mould and become very comfortable with wear. These finger protectors are literally stab proof. Needles: I include 10 starter needles in the kit, 3 different sizes included. Packaging: You kit will arrive packaged as the box displayed in the photo. Gift wrapping Service: Should you wish to select the gift wrapping service your box will be set as displayed in the pictures. I will add additional bubble wrap protection and include a tag and a hand made card which will carry your personal message. Invoice documentation (prices etc) will not be included if Gift wrapping is selected unless I am shipping outside of the UK. In this case I will need to include documentation for customs paperwork.
