Wool: The wool provided is a blend of hand washed, hand dyed Herdwick wool and hand washed and dyed Angora goat fibre or Mohair. Its and interesting blend as Herdwick sheep product a very strong wool that is usually processed to make carpets. Mohair is super fine but also very strong. The combination of the two will produce a very unique yarn that will be strong enough to make something very durable. Drop Spindle: This is a handmade drop spindle using Beachwood for the spindle and pine wood for the shaft. This is a great spindle for beginners. The diameter of the spindle is 7cm and the shaft 28cm long. Weight - 50g Diz: The diameter of the 3 hole Did is 5cm made from pine wood. Both the Did and spindle have been sealed using beeswax.
